About
About optilyz
We have made it our goal to make direct mail a firmly anchored part of every cross-channel marketing strategy of companies worldwide. From our point of view, print advertising is anything but dead. What it needed was a bridge into the digital world. And this is what we have created with optilyz and our SaaS solution. In a digital environment, it is possible to view print mailings as a performance channel and to control them in a data-driven way. The result is highly personalised and automated print mailings. We call this Direct Mail Automation and thus combine the best of both worlds. Our aim is to make this process as effortless as possible with our software, so that marketers can focus on the needs of their customers.
Sustainability at optilyz
We are certainly aware that we leave a carbon footprint on the world with our services. That’s why we already advocate for better segmented mailings that are only sent when they are truly relevant to the customer. We’re also enabling hyper-personalized content on smaller formats to reduce paper waste. Furthermore we print only on FSC-certified paper, which is produced via strict strict ecological and social principles. Since 2021 we off-set our carbon footprint (adding an additional 10% safety margin) via climate projects from ClimatePartner.
Planting trees in Germany
We support the project planting trees in Germany. German forests are disappearing more and more. Be it through forest fires, triggered by climate change, or through drought and heat waves. The project supports reforestation and the conversion to so-called mixed forests. These consist of oaks and pines, for example. They are much more resistant to climate change and tolerate heat and drought better.
Clean oceans project
We support the clean oceans project, implemented by Plastic Bank, which aims to stem the global tide of plastic. Local residents in Haiti, Indonesia, Brazil and the Philippines can exchange collected plastic waste for money, food, drinking water or even school fees. The collected plastic waste is then recycled and turned into so-called social plastic, which in turn is used as raw material for new products. As a result, less plastic ends up in the oceans, which has a positive effect on climate protection.
Forest conversation in Brazil
We support the forest conservation project, which protects the 90,000-hectare forest in Pará, Brazil. Commercial deforestation is prohibited there, which is why alternative sources of income are being created for the 94 resident families. One example of this is the trade of the açaí fruit. The project is not only certified with the verified carbon standard, but also with the social carbon standard, as the project promotes development in one of the poorest regions in northeastern Brazil.
